Sri Villas

AREA South
FROM COLOMBO 64 km - 2 hours

The beachside town of Bentota is known for beautiful beaches, water sports and is frequently visited by travelers and families, which is largely due to its somewhat close proximity to Colombo. Perhaps one of the only properties in this town to have absolute access to a half kilometer expanse of sparsely visited beach is Sri Villas. Though fully equipped in terms of modern convenience Sri Villas attempts, rather successfully to draw inspiration from Sri Lankan art, architecture and influences. The design is largely traditional, with the surroundings playing a vital role in the design of the place. The high ceilings effectively catch the salty beach breezes, and the tall doors and windows are modeled on traditional Sri Lankan homes. Its exact location is ten minutes south of Bentota town in Induruwa, along the southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka, an area that is known as plentiful is terms of culture. Drive time to Colombo will vary according to rush hour traffic. Perhaps at night when the roads are clear you can expect to be there in one and half hours.

Sri Villas is a relaxing place- a true personification of all that Sri Lanka beach holidays are known for. The panoramic views of the infinite horizon and a beach that can easily be accessed as it borders the property’s garden are immense contributors to the experience. Others include the soothing earth tones incorporated into the décor, the clean and elegant lines that seem to be a continual favorite with the interiors. The shoreline is good in season, as opposed to some other southern towns where walking beach has depleted in the last few years. Sri Villas is ideal for group travelers and families, especially those seeking seclusion.
